About us
Why Air exists and how it is meant to work.

Placeholder. This page is a draft skeleton, not reviewed by a lawyer, and every bracketed value still needs filling in. Do not rely on it.
The problem
Most people who study English for years still freeze the first time they have to speak it. Reading and listening are easy to practise alone. Speaking is not — it needs another person, and finding one who is patient, present, and not a stranger with bad intentions is the hard part.
What we built
Rooms with a human at the door. A host opens a room on a topic, speaks briefly with each person who applies, and pairs the ones who pass. That short conversation is the whole product: it is what makes the room feel safe enough to actually talk in.
A host can drop into any conversation to check on it, and both people see a banner the moment they do. Nobody is watched without knowing.
What we will not do
No anonymous roulette. No recordings. No advertising. No selling who you talked to.
Air is free, and there is no paid tier that unlocks the safety features. Safety is not a feature.
Where we are
Air is early. Some of what you can see is still being built, and the pages you are reading are placeholders until they have been through a lawyer. If something is broken, telling us is genuinely useful.
