Terms of use
The rules for using Air. Plain language where it can be.

Placeholder. This page is a draft skeleton, not reviewed by a lawyer, and every bracketed value still needs filling in. Do not rely on it.
Accepting these terms
By using Air you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
Who can use Air
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher. You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it.
One person, one account. Do not share your sign-in with anyone.
How conversations work
Rooms are opened by hosts. A host speaks to every applicant on a live call before admitting them, and may decline anyone for any reason consistent with these terms. A host may also drop into a conversation to check it is going well — when they do, both participants see a banner first.
Conversations are not recorded by us.
What you may not do
Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone. Share sexual content, or anything involving minors. Impersonate somebody else. Record another participant without their knowledge. Advertise, recruit, or solicit. Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
We remove accounts for any of the above, usually without warning.
Reporting
Every conversation has a report button. Reports are reviewed by a human. Reporting somebody does not tell them you did.
Your content
You keep ownership of anything you write or say. You give us only the permission needed to operate the service — showing your profile to a host who is screening you, for example.
Availability and liability
Air is provided as-is and free of charge. We do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
Ending your account
You can stop using Air at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@example.com. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
Governing law
[Jurisdiction to be confirmed.] Disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
